Working with Agile Teams, with Craig Larman and Francesco Cirillo

With the cooperation of Università Roma Tre, we organized a conference geared for students, programmers, and managers; for those already using Agile Methods or wishing to learn more about them.
Francesco Cirillo and Craig Larman answered these questions: What pratical steps to take to become Agile? What social skills make developers’ technical know-how a winning strategy? How do systems change when created using "Lean Thinking" and Agile Principles compared to traditional ones?
The conference was exciting one, with a lively audience of over 200 participants who responded to the speakers’ challenges and asked many questions about Agile Methods.

What technical skills and knowledge should a student or junior developer have or be required to learn? What social skills are necessary to make technical skills effective in a real project and in an Agile Development Team? From must-read books to the concept of responsibility. Francesco Cirillo is an internationally known expert of Agile Methods, Design Pattern and Object Oriented design. Recognized as a pioneer of Extreme Programming, he is the inventor of a Time Management system for managing software projects known as the Pomodoro Technique. |
