agilemethods.eu is the area of XPLabs dedicated to Agile Methods and Extreme Programming (XP) education and consulting.

What We Do

We put together the first XP and Agile Teams in Europe and now count over 10 years experience in Mentoring, Coaching and XP and Agile Management Consulting in both Italian and International Teams. We offer both individualized educational programs for Agile Methods and training Workshops and Seminars.

We organize events with leaders in Agile Methods.

We are currently based in Rome, Italy and work all over the world.

Who We Are

Francesco Cirillo is the agilemethods.eu Education Coordinator.

Francesco is an internationally known expert in Process Improvement, Agile Methods, Design Pattern and Object Oriented development. He is recognized as a pioneer of Extreme Programming. He is the inventor of the Pomodoro Technique, a time management system used for managing software projects. Francesco's initiaves in support of effective programming include his Anti-IF Campaign and the Agile Development Tournament. A long-time promotor of Agile Methods and the principles of good programming, he has organized seminars at Italian Universities with the XPLabsTour and participates in major conferences in the sector. His blog, Cirillo's Scrapbook, offers advice and reflections for aspiring or practicing Agile Developers.
